Lots of Vegan Food in Rochester, NY {Part 7}

Here is another batch of vegan food reporting from Rochester–not many places are in this report, but they’re of top notch quality deserving immediate sharing! Firstly, Petit Poutinerie–a poutine food truck turned gorgeous brick and mortar with amazing vegan options. Just look:
Some beverages: Ginger Soda (Cane sugar, fresh ginger root and mint) and Lemon Lavender Soda (Cane sugar, fresh squeezed lemon and fragrant lavender) The attention to detail is impeccable.
The vegan side of the table: Fried Brussels Sprouts, the mind-blowing Buffalo Tofu Sandwich (crispy marinated tofu, cabbage slaw, pickles topped with buffalo sauce) and a mini vegan poutine with a side of their Sloppy Bro(ccoli).. a show stopper. I cannot emphasize the quality of these vegan eats enough. I hope to return again and again!

And speaking of… This is some sandwich.

Since it was Valentine’s Day weekend, I needed sweet redness. Red Fern had a red velvet cake that we picked up. Though it looked the part, it really wasn’t red velvet. It was cherry-flavored. Because I was craving an actual red velvet cake, I made some for my students for the big V-Day.
Finally, Naan-Tastic, and Indian fusion chain with clearly labeled vegan options. They make Indian “tacos” with naan. I stopped in and got to pile on all the deliciousness… a warm vegan naan, turmeric rice, Channa Masala, topped with Vegan Vindaloo, red onion, cilantro, Punjabi Mac™ (a gluten free & vegan mac and cheese and a generous dose of tamarind sauce. I’m drooling typing this.
This was incredible.
Samosas were not as amazing, a bit too greasy. But still, they’re samosas.
