Lots of Vegan Food in Rochester, NY {Part 6.5}

Yet another mini-report on Rochester, New York’s vegan offerings! My quick trip had some yummy bites… starting with brunch at Voula’s Greek Sweets. Their food really blew me away last time I visited, so I knew I would have to try their brunch.

First, their vegan sweet case, including Melomakarona, Baklava Bark, Baklava, and Saragli.

But I didn’t get any of those traditional Greek sweets because I wanted their Kanella French Toast: House-made cinnamon bread with almonds and walnuts, served with fruit salad and rosewater syrup. Let’s look….

My guy got the Tofu Scramble, a delicious 90’s-feel tofu scramble sprinkled with vegan feta, served with lemon potatoes and crostini toast.

So good.

Han Noodle Bar has some yummy tofu bao.

More at Abundance Food Coop… a vegan Banh Mi included yummy marinated tofu, pickled carrot and cucumber and vegenaise.

It was really good, but next time I might toast the baguette separately as it was too much coldness.

Also, Cherrie’s Jubilee Smore Bar. I kinda love this brand and their gluten-free goodies. They’re so nostalgic. Being a long-time vegan, it make each bite a bit sweeter.

A new all-vegan spot for me: Squatcho’s!

They’ve got pizza, sammies and sweets.

We got the Let’s Go Buffalo, a creamy buffalo base, vegan mozzarella and cheddar, Buffalo seitan bits, drizzled with Buffalo sauce and sprinkled with vegan crumbled bleu cheese.

It was really yummy, but I wish I would have opted for trying a pie with their house tofu ricotta.

Now, another bite from Black Cat Baking Co. This time I picked ’em up from Ugly Duck Coffee. A vegan Apple Crumb Danish… hellll-o! Everything they make is out of this world.

That’s a wrap for now, Rochester. If you want more, The whole series is accessible below. I’ll be hitting up more spots soon. πŸ™‚
