A DoorDash from Love in Action Cafe… this is their “chicken” sammy–deep fried mushroom. It was really good so I bet it’d be even better fresh at the cafe. I will have to make an excursion.

We deserve *a* drink after a long week! We went to a dog park bar (Skiptown) that was pretty amazing.

A quick stop at Red Clay Ciderworks… the best on the flight was a beer: Captain Peanut Butter’s Chocolate Revenge by NoDa Brewing.

Because I was so hungry, Theย Marghie… ย pizza sauce, vegan mozzarella, tomato topped and fresh basil. Only certain flatbread pizzas can be made vegan and I was happy the bartender pointed this out after I initially ordered a pickle pizza vegan. My friend who got the pickle pizza (non-vegan) got violently ill that eveningย … many many times. Sooooo, exersize caution.

On a day trip, I hit up The Common Market in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I got the Smokin’ Hot Momma, which was house-smoked tofu, vegan mozzarella, arugula, tomato, peppers & onions, and a garlic aioli grilled on a local sourdough. It was really good and the space was pretty cool.
