April 8th, 2024: Not So Total Solar Eclipse 🌚🌝

For years I had been looking forward to seeing another total solar eclipse. And when I moved out of New York City to Rochester, New York, I was so happy to be in the path of totality.

But then, disappointment along with the accompanying excitement of traveling to North Carolina. I’d be in flight attendant training on Monday, April 8th.

Luckily, Eclipse fever spread near and far. Even though the sun would only be 80.2% covered outside of the training center, a photoshoot from the parking lot! Because of course I packed my solar filter.
