Some Albuquerque Vegan Eats

I really didn’t eat a good meal until I got to Albuquerque… Such is the road sometimes. To follow, some good vegan eats, finally. First, The Acre–an eatery I hit years ago while in Albuquerque and I happened to get the same sandwich! I guess I like what I like.

Here, a strawberry limeade that was just what the doctor ordered.

Here, again, is the Comfort Club: Toasted multigrain double decker, carrot bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, diced green chile, and chipotle mayo.

My friend’s eats, The Comfort Dogs: Two marinated braised carrot dogs, mustard, ketchup in a classic bun.

Double-fisting lattes… an oat milk Golden Milk latte and a regular oat milk latte from Zendo Coffee. Perfection.

Another repeat.. Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Cafe. An Americano and a chocolate chip cookie while I wait for breakfast.

A delicious tofu scramble with mushroom, tomato and avocado with a dosa on the side. Gosh, it felt good to actually eat a good meal.

There are pretty murals all about the building

I had to try Thai Vegan, because obviously it’s right up my alley.

I went for the standard: Pad Thai… because they have their own Pad Thai sauce. It was okay. A bit mushy in the noodle department and the sauce was a bit cloyingly sweet. I needed a lot more lemon, peanut and green onion. Their sauces, in general, were not that great and their veggie dumplings–disappointingly not fresh made.

And with that, I’d be heading East!
