What a time it is for vegan food when October is a quick-service counter spot! I saw their Gnocchi & Smashed tomato dish on Instagram and had been dreaming of it since. With a cause to take the trip into Manhattan, I knew I’d need to make October in Little Italy my lunch destination.

As beautiful as I imagined, their Gnocchi + Smashed Tomato with cauliflower gnocchi, roasted zucchini & artichokes, broccoli, cauliflower, in a stewed tomato sauce… topped with a slew of herbs.

Perfection–herbaceous, hearty, and pretty much a double portion!

Plants at their best. It’s nothing less now. 💪
