Mom & Dad’s Anniversary Cookies

A special batch of chocolate chip cookies for my parents’ 52nd anniversary! Sure I wanted to make something more involved, but my mom just loves my cookies. It’s been a rough couple of years for my parents and I wanted to sweeten a their day.

Something about this recipe: It contains no vanilla extract, yet has really great chocolate chip cookie-ish taste.

I ran out of other oils so had to use Olive Oil to meet the oil requirement. I worried it’d make them taste a little weird, but it was a hit.

Yeaaaaah, I take this picture a lot!

Ready for their trip to Long Island. Happy Birthday, Mom & Dad!
