Leaf Peepin’ 🍁 Rochester, New York

I didn’t know so many kinds of plants shed their green for a vibrant yellow, orange or red hue until I experienced my first autumn in Rochester! To follow some of my foliage discoveries.

Rose bush leaves change color, but each leaf at its own pace…

The Japanese Maple (we think) that is in front of the house

This is definitely the hibiscus bush that I watched bloom in the summer turning yellow.

I saw this hydrangea bush in a parking lot and had to shoot it! The yellow and purple color compliments… so pretty!

But this one was my absolute favorite… the Common Reed goes yellow! And it is gorgeous

Soon it’ll be full fledge winter here… so many folks warned me about these winters, so I’ll just have to see how it goes! Till then, I hope you’re enjoying autumn!
