Another Long Island Excursion -

Anywhere I’ve never been is a great place to go! So we hit the ferry to see what was shaking on Shelter Island, off Long Island’s North Fork, before the season starts and it gets way more annoying.

Flash forward to some crazy hail in Mattituck… it was a day of crazy weather

Mattitaco was a nice spot to hit up, but a bit overpriced for the quality. Also they’re still serving things in to-go containers. We can stop doing this now. That’s the guacamole trio which was not the greatest value at $17ish, especially served in little plastic containers.

The Margarita Flight was fun!

Some vegan tacos! Here is the taco special “the Happy Vegan.” My favorite of the bunch.

The Bang Bang cauliflower taco with a mango salsa. You have to omit the sauce to make it vegan, so it needed a sauce to bring it together.

I also got the Shrooms taco with grilled portabello & poblano peppers and a chimichurri sauce. They were out of one other veg option–the beet falafel.
