Platja El Golfet

It was a difficult choice… which part of the Costa Brava region, known for its coastal beauty and rich medieval history, should I visit on my last day in the area. But once I saw the rock formations and lack of development surrounding Platja El Golfet, I knew…

Looking at these images, it surreal, this level of beauty. From this vantage point, I almost ran down the many flights to get into that water.

Much like Lake Tahoe… I would only learn after getting back to my car that I had descended 20 flights or so to enjoy the shore.

I’m in the water now!

You can walk the length of the shore, through the cliffs

Many scale down for secluded spots to access the water

I walked all the way out of the Platja El Golfet and saw all this development. Then I turned around and went back.

Ok, I got into the water again because I had gotten very hot!

Basking…

Back by Platja El Golfet.. I was getting ready to head out so I wanted to capture myself here one last time

Goodbye, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been…
