On the way to the beach, which I thought was “la playa” . . but I suppose “platja” also works. I walked to Barceloneta Beach.

In my hotel, very pretty common areas
I’m at the airport getting my rental car! Prices were higher for an automatic transmission, but still very cheap! I paid 117 euros for three days.
Outside of my first destination accessed by car… Poblenou Cemetery
Though I shouldn’t have taken I pic while driving, this gorgeous structure (Plaça d’Espanya) is not accessible by foot and within a very busy traffic circle

The Pools of Castellnou was an abandoned site that was cleared unfortunately. From a hill I could still capture some of the graffiti that had collected. I am unsure what the plan for the site is…

Here are the gas station pumps. Exciting stuff! I was excited by everything.
