Vegan Super Bowl Eats 🏈

More than a like of football is my love for thematic eats. I enjoy celebrating any day that revolves around food. This year, the Firecracker Tofu Wings from Vegan Richa, bookmarked last month for this occasion–and that favorite nacho cheese made with potato and carrot. Let’s look!

This “firecracker” sauce is perfection. I made a double batch.

The breadcrumb coating. How wonderful a concept! Coating food in little pieces of bread.

All ready for assembly. I followed Vegan Richa’s recipe to a T… but I worked on the tofu a bit more–previously pressing, freezing, thawing and pressing it again to improve the texture.

My nacho cheese from this recipe. I left the skins on the potato because they were so little and peeling them would be tedious.

Ready to sit for awhile after a very busy morning. To dip, just some vegan mayo with green onion. The green pepper was well-needed for a fresh, crispy bite.

Ready for the Puppy Bowl, ready for the Super Bowl.
