Vegan Kofteh: vegan Anatolian Cuisine in Cliffside Park, New Jersey

Once and awhile you find such a unique vegan options that you can’t wait to blog about it.ย  That is how I felt after picking up a vegan kofteh wrap next to the George Washington Bridge in Cliffside Park, New Jersey.ย  I found Nefista.

There are v-bombs are everywhere in Nefista. Their main dish is a vegan version of a minced meat dish popular inย Anatolia (Asian Turkey). The vegan kofteh consists of: bulgur wheat, Isot (southeastern anatolian red peppers), chili peppers, walnuts, tomato paste, pepper paste, tomato juice, onion juice (yum), carrot juice, onions, celery, garlic, parsley, lemon, mint, thyme, basil, olive oil, 11 different spices… and love, as read from their menu board.

You get to watch the counterperson make it with love…

All ready to roll.

On my lap, back in the car

So delicious and flavorful! What a fantastic find.ย ย
