Vegan Florida Eats 🌴
Christopher’s Kitchen, Palm Beach Gardens

The all-vegan Christopher’s Kitchen was a perfect first dinner in West Palm area. Elevated without being stuffy, their food is an example of the best food can be–close to its original form yet deliciously treated with care–delivering on all fronts: taste, texture and presentation.

For starters, the Avocado Ginger Roll, packed with arugula, avocado, mango, cucumber, carrot, pea shoots, and cashew cheese, garnished with almond crumbles and served with thai sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi. Fresh and tongue-tinglingly flavorful.

Looking closer

The star of the show–this vegan pizza was mind-blowing. The Biancoverde is a thin crust topped with their macadamia ricotta, roasted cherry tomatoes, onion, dates, arugula, chili flakes. You get it all: dressed bitter greens, sweet bites of soft date, creamy ricotta, onion (’nuff said), and subtle heat from the chili flakes. Each bite hits all of the notes of a delicious crust that is not too thick, allowing vibrant flavors to pack a punch.

My favorite bites had the date. I need to try making this at home.

If I had one criticism it’d be for more of that macadamia ricotta.

For dessert, a special treat. A Banana Split with three scoops of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate and cookie dough), chocolate sauce, a caramel drizzle and strawberry… in-between a banana of course. When a vegan Banana Split is available, I need to have it. Luckily splitting all these courses allowed me ample room to devour it. It was as delicious as it looks.
