Vegan Eats in Flagstaff, Arizona

Local Juicery is the kind of place one craves on the road… fresh, vibrant and healthful. All which is difficult to find roadside. So my arrival in Flagstaff, Arizona, which had the temperature dropping like 30 degrees thankfully, was marked with the seizing of its offerings. I got the Avocado Toast (smashed avocado, vegan cashew chipotle crema, chipotle flakes, nutritional yeast, olive oil, microgreens, and Himalayan pink salt) and a damn fine Golden Milk Latte (turmeric, almond butter, coconut butter, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cardamom, cayenne, black pepper, coconut crystals). Both knocked my socks off.

Bandera Craft Tacos delivered to my motel, so that is basically the main reason I chose a couple of their vegan offerings. I got the Brussels Sprout Taco, which really was just some roasted Brussels (along with togarachi aioli) and The Avocado (Grilled avocado, tepa bean, cabbage pico de gallo, and mild chili oil). And a huge bag of tricolored corn chips. It was a great motel meal.

I made a run for the very popular Macy’s European Coffeehouse & Bakery prior to heading off to the Grand Canyon. Why? They had vegan waffles! Perfection. I probably could have eaten three. It is also worth mentioning that “alternative milk” lattes were readily available everywhere.

Overall impressive vegan eats in Flagstaff, Arizona!
