Welcome to my series that highlights the very best vegan foods in New York City’s boroughs. While vegan options are popping up all over, this series focuses on the non-dairy cream of the crop, options that raise the bar for vegan food and deserve special recognition for their high standards.
First–some stellar pastry in my home borough of Brooklyn. Lโimprimerie is a real-deal French bakery and cafe with some pretty impressive accolades, including Best Croissant and Best Chocolate Chip Cookie. But these were feats won by their non-vegan goodies. I am ready to put together a Vegan Victuals ๐ฅ Croissant Showdown to give them the opportunity to go up against other vegan pastry. More on that soon…
Counter folk at Lโimprimerie are super helpful and the pastry, as you will imagine peeping the pictures below, was mind blowing. I guarantee an amazing bite (or bites as I walked away with a box full of treats) at Bushwick’s Lโimprimerie. But get there early as the line can get pretty long. After all, they are a Vegan Best of the Boroughs.
They have quiches. Vegan quiches.
