The Nights At Hither Hills
Montauk, Long Island
September 19, 2023

It always a shock to see how vibrant the stars are at Montauk. Sure, there is also a lot of light pollution at the horizon–but the Milky Way always says “Hi” to me. I like to blame my starry luck on my underwear which is always star-patterned. And in some warped Virgin Suicides child-like logic, the universe amusingly abides.
My new tent.

The sand and the milk. And a faint shadow of my tripod. Sweatpants and socks in the sand is a lovely feeling.

The Milky Way at her most beautiful of the evening.

Just me and the Milky Way

My campfire causing explosions of light in the star trails series on night two.

Though I might try to see her close to my birthday, this might be the last Milky Way of the season. Goodbye, Milky Way. xoxoxox
