Summer To-do’s: Storage Solution Sculpture

With apartment storage limitations, the tub of the old toys I used to play with needed to get out of the square footage of my back bedroom and serve a more decorative purpose. With so many memories within, and sanitary and safety concerns with passing them onward to other youngins’, I decided to embark upon an ambitious 3D sculpture that could be mounted along the hallway. So I got gluing in part 1 of a two-part summer to-do. And there was a lot to work with!

At the base, my Dad’s labeling on the storage box from decades ago. It’s meant to look like the floor of my childhood’s playroom. We used to fill the entire floor with toys.
Almost done but I still had so many My Little Ponies. Gosh, I loved those things. They’re still around now but they are sexier. What’s wrong with our world?
