St. George Vegan Eats

Ok, so part of the reason I was so psyched about St. George, Utah was the vegan options. Starting with a good breakfast that hits all the notes from Gaia’s Garden Cafe

The Buddha Toast with avocado, curried chickpeas, radish, cilantro & house-made tahini dressing on Organic artisan sourdough. Just one slice… perfectly dreamy.

Why just one slice? Because I wanted some sweetness too.

By way of a blue spirulina bowl with mango, coconut, chia seed, strawberry and chocolate and date caramel drizzles. So damn good and a perfect duo with the slice of avocado toast. Now I could hike all day!

Anything blue spirulina gets me snapping pictures…

Dragon fruit lemonade

Their Roasted Beef Sandwich… Toasted ciabatta roll, seitan roast beef, smoke house cheese, sliced onion, spinach, & horseradish mayo. Yummy but a bit dry…

Pinkbox Doughnuts has 5 different vegan options. I tried two but should have bought all five. Then I might have actually gotten a “pink box.”

The bag-packed Veegee® is a vegan glazed vanilla cake with orange vegan buttercream and orange frosting. It was pretty darn sweet and would best be shared with another.

I also got a good breakfast from FeelLove Coffee, a chain with plenty of delicious vegan options. This is their vegan and gluten free chocolate glazed cake donut.

This is their vegan breakfast burrito. I don’t know why but I am much more inclined to eat processed vegan packaged goods when they are wrapped in a burrito! This was ok, but I regretted not having their avocado toast and fancier vegan lattes.
