Satiety in Brooklyn
April 25, 2021

Post-Coney Island eats needed to be vibrant and plant-forward, so we headed to the bustling Ras Plant Based in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. It was meal perfection. First a coconut cream-based cocktail. No scary egg white froth here.

Piassa Platter with Yater Kik, Missir Alicha, Zucchini, Alicha Shiro, and Ksir Alicha. That’s beets, split pea stew, red lentil stew, chickpea blend, and curried veggies.

The Ras Tibs–Sautรฉed seitan, tomato, jalapeรฑos and Berbere sauce.

Injera. Extra injera. I’m drooling thinking of it.

A toast to impending summer and all its adventures

Before my hands dig into these delicious piles
