Pet Sematary Screening

Watching an old and dear friend achieve Hollywood success is quite surreal. Watching them be swarmed by others in every direction… we basked in the love and added ours to it. And we also got star treatment, as special guests of Paramount Pictures, special guests of director Kevin Kölsch, at the advanced screening of Pet Sematary, part of the Brooklyn Horror Fest, at the Nitehawk Cinema. And I took pictures of everything.

Last time we saw him was in Montreal where he was shooting the film. We attended the wrap party and had unlimited free vegan tacos. I feel obliged to mention the tacos as this here is a mostly food blog. More aptly it is a things I love blog. This time it’s film and friends.

Here Kevin is with his directing partner Dennis Widmyer introducing the film… and the gorgeous cat who would play Church. We got to meet him later on.

After the film, the Q&A with the directors and actors.

Pet Sematary shenanigans

With Kevin and one of the stars, the adorable Jeté Laurence.

The cat!! A very special and talented buddy.

An amazing event. Can’t wait to see what he’ll make next!
