A Month of Errands

I’ve always wanted to join the annual Holiday Nostalgic Ride… when the MTA allows its vintage trains to ping-pong from Chambers Street to Harlem. And so with a day of Manhattan errands, I made it happen.

I tried to do most of my holiday errands locally. This was a neat storefront that lured me in.

I have strong memories of this decoration. It was on the shutters of my childhood home. And I always wanted to get a tattoo of it

At the Asian mart I saw this huge bean curd sheet

I love this about Bay Ridge. Real authentic ethnic shops. Some cool stuff for classroom cupcake decorating, including some halal sweets for my Muslim girls and nut-free stuff for my allergy kid.

Going to the movies at Angelica Theater, I picked up a vegan empanada. It was yummy but microwaved.
