New Years Day at
Watkins Glen State Park

Wanting some beauty and nature on day 1, we headed to Watkins Glen State Park. I hadn’t been there in like 7 years and I remember it being very beautiful. But unfortunately the warm temps (following the arctic freeze) had the best parts of the park closed off. Ice chunks were falling from the rocks. But there still was some beauty to take in.

Besides the trail closures, all of the eateries around the cute downtown were also closed. It was too bad since there were some great vegan options! I’ll have to return. Happy New Year!!
