New Lens Trial at Green-Wood Cemetery

Winter’s first trip into Green-Wood Cemetery with my new telephoto lens would seem years from the last time I walked in. This is the thing with Green-Wood. It is like a time capsule; it holds onto pieces of every time I visit and mixes them confusingly in a sequence of feelings that are familiar but far away.

Besides this emotional enigma, the models are very still. They’re the perfect subject in which to try out a new lens. Below, some shots as I ventured about, hunting feelings.
