My Rat Pack

This classic photo of the Rat Pack captures cool, captures camaraderie and friendship. Because Fun is not just… fun… it’s the meeting of humor and intellect, the application of both to arouse a collective spirit; synergy. A release I need more than ever in confinement.

Finding people to laugh with has always been important to me, to balance the heavy burden of my perceptions and convictions. (whoa whoa whoa) And for decades, it’s been them, my own Rat Pack. And, fittingly, it was without question they obliged me in this ridiculous remote re-enactment of this iconic picture. Captured from our respective homes and spliced. (Butchered by me.)

But together, we have our own iconic images… tons of them through over twenty years of friendship. Photos that capture that effervescent cool, the connection of real life weirdos, the freedom we give and the weight we lift for each other. Some things last a lifetime–and we’re banking on it.
