Mom’s Shamrock🍀

My mother has a March birthday and she’s a very proud Irish! (Which, yes, makes me Irish too, though I can’t handle a drink and my intense Sicilian blood from my Dad’s side barks the orders usually.) A fan of my hot glue gun wreaths, she requested a St. Patrick’s Day one for her special day. So I got to work, thinking of my sweet Mom with every squeeze of the hot glue gun.

Above, my green stuff. And off I go. It’s important that the process take multiple days as the work from the day before becomes the “not blank” canvas for the next day which is mostly the addition of fine details and smaller pieces.

The finished product nearly pulled the nail out of the wall. This shamrock is heavy!

My favorite part is the last minute addition of the rainbow and the gold coin confetti that spilth over.

Whether you have some Irish or not, Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️ 🇮🇪 ☘️ And Happy Birthday Mom! ❤️
