Milky Way Over Lake Tahoe

I found a nice spot next to the lake to shoot for hours undisturbed. Sure, there were plenty of passing cars, but they illuminated the tree tops nicely as they were high above a hill.

These clouds look really nice with the Milky Way. I am learning to embrace them as there is not much I can do about them but wait till they shuffle off.

And they eventually did.

Because I was facing south, this star trails isn’t very impressive. And that cloud.

A quick time lapse as I lay aside my camera. This is beginning to be my favorite part.
