Marble Cupcake Break
March 1, 2024

My guy’s son’s birthday is here, so I’d need to make his classroom cupcakes before heading to celebrate yet another awesome Pisces, my Mom! When I asked him what kind of cupcakes he wanted, he was torn between vanilla and chocolate… so it was marble cupcakes for the win.
A bit of black cocoa along with the Dutch-processed because… you know… sometimes kids can’t handle dark chocolate.

The vanilla side would have colorful sprinkles, because I have so many.

Texture of the batter was slightly off but sometimes it all works out in the oven

And it did work out! They had a great texture… all 36 of them

No cupcake was the same

In the mad dash of trying to get everything ready to return to downstate, I didn’t even take a picture with the frosting on! But the tops of them unfrosted looked pretty darn cool.
