Starting out on the pop-up circuit and finding a home at the roller-disco themed retro bar All Night Skate, Mama Yoshi minimart has now got a brick and mortar in Ridgewood, Queens. This Japanese convenience shop and counter eatery pulled me in with their Spicy Cauliflower Sandwich: their own cauliflower katsu cutlet, extra spicy dry rub, pickles, pickled red onions and spicy vegan mayo… It is a glorious vegan eat!
