More Vegan Ops on Staten Island

Out of all of New York City’s boroughs, Staten Island is the one I seem to be on the most. Besides the fact that it is just a few minutes away from me, I have a thing for reporting on their evolving vegan options. This time it would be a stop at J’s On the Bay in Rosebank to try some of their declared vegan options.

Though I was torn about whether to order sweet or savory, as their hot cakes looked out of this world, I chose the Mediterranean Lentil Burger–a delightfully tall lentil loaf topped with a creamy vegan Tzatziki and pickled shallots, to name a few. Served with a few dreamy sweet potato wedges, the whole plate blew my mind. So let’s look at a lot of pictures of its beauty before I devoured every single morsel.
