Florida Trees, Florida Sky
December 30, 2020
Ringing in the New Year in the tropics, these beautiful trees/beautiful sky are surely a welcome retreat from my usual couch time in Brooklyn. With the last few days being busier that the last few weeks combined, I’ve neglected you dear blog, archive of daily wonderment. So after a mission north and before a mission south then west, some pretty sites from my current home base.
The trees tell you you are far away.
The enormous Kapok Tree on Palm Beach Island is pretty fantastic. 186 years young.
Hard to capture just how large its external roots are
There, the scale of that structure helps my cause
The Worth Avenue Clock Tower, watching the sun go down
The money shot… what you can’t see are the folks behind me waiting to take the very same picture
Hey Moon
The Cold Moon in the tropics
Doing its thing to the ocean tide, my tide
I wanted to see palm trees dressed for Christmas
The Manowar jellyfish remains were all about
Merry Christmas… again
More final 2020 adventures to come!
