Checking In With the 3 Brothers

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted about 3 Brothers… since I went on Daiya-overload a few weeks ago. But I was on Long Island with wheels and was hungry. A visit to 3 Brothers was in order.
It is still surreal when I walk into this place and they present me with their vegan menu. It is still kind of surreal when they bring a big ball of Earth Balance to spread on super-fresh bread baked on the premises. As a young vegan who trekked miles to find something mediocrely satisfying back in the day (barefoot!), I sure don’t take this place for granted… 
Though it is looking a bit messy, their Seitan Parmigiana hero is fantastic, mostly because of that amazing bread and their housemade and breaded seitan. And even though the prices on their vegan menu went up, you’re still getting a huge hero you’ll likely take home half of.
