Because you need a piece of chocolate cake on top of your chocolate shake: Black Tap’s New Vegan Eats

With new vegan eats at the chain Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, I had to get myself there a.s.a.p. You see, they make these Instagramable “CakeShakes,” decadent shake concoctions topped with big slices of cake … and after repeated requests, they made a vegan version! And with a few vegan sandwiches also on the menu, I had a great meal even though surrounded by tourists.

From their official announcement of this crazy treat: “Inspired by the classic New York cookie, it’s made with a vegan chocolate soy milkshake, housemade vanilla frosting, mini chocolate chips on the rim, topped off with a huge slice of black and white cake, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.”

Unbelievable vegan option!

Also worthy, their Vegan Nashville Chicken sandwich. It was really good. It’s a breaded and deep-fried portobello, that typical Nashville hot sauce, coleslaw, pickles, on a vegan potato roll. A big pickle and some fries. Who can ask for anything more?!
