In my typical multi-tasking style, an early morning errand on Staten Island meant I had the opportunity to return to Filoncino Cafe in Eltingville to try their vegan breakfast. One of my favorite kinds of vegan dishes are nostalgic diner fare. Perhaps because I spent a lot of time in diners in my youth and couldn’t partake in much of the menu. This fits the bill!
I really dig Filoncino Cafe. Deep cut vegan options clearly labeled on their menu, great service and no pretense. <3
