A Quicks Trip to Mahwah, New Jersey

Mahwah, New Jersey is close to Tuxedo, New York… home of the Renaissance Faire. So some fun around the area before the special event.

We had dinner at Jay’s Thai Kitchen. To start, some Spring Rolls
And some Crispy Tofu Triangles
The Papaya Salad, Som Tum… shredded green papaya, tomato, chili and peanuts. It was really yummy.
Mango & sticky rice. So heavenly. Warm sticky rice drenched in sweet coconut milk with perfectly ripe mango
Pool time at the motel!
Breakfast stop at Longfellow’s Coffee. They had some vegan baked goods, but my choice–the banana loaf–might have been the worst vegan baked good I’ve had in a years. It was rubbery–overbeat–and dense–overcooked. I could barely rip a piece off as it bent and took on a baffling scientific state of matter.
But the oat milk latte was good!
Foliage was near peak around these parts. We took the opportunity to do a quick shoot inside the foliage.
