A Few Bites At Industry City

Commiseration with fellow teachers at the end of the summer is a must. Industry City is a great meeting spot… for good food and good drinks. I was happy to see that Ayat is now there, one of my favorite falafel spots. And a beautiful lemonade, garnished to the 9’s.

A delicious portion of their “Zahir,” fried cauliflower drizzled with tahini & pomegranate molasses. It made my tastebuds explode. “Literally.”

Onward to Barrow’s Intense Tasting Room, specializing in “adult” ginger concoction. Given the heat, I got the frozen Moscow Mule.

The calm before the dark and stormy… Goodbye Summer.
