Needing a little ‘me time,’ I looked forward to running away and getting in an abandoned site as my birthday extended into another weekend’s events. It was a mission that I was very excited for… finding another abandoned Poconos resort, the one with the champagne tub. I had a good amount of intel from a unique source, but I embarked already managing my expectations. But I found it! And I was ecstatic. In I go…
The doors for almost all rooms were sealed tight… almost.
The room is in very good condition and in the same lay-out as Cove Haven. I have such great memories of visiting in August. But this room hadn’t been used in over 10 years. Art and wallpaper trim, both Egyptian-themed, was still popping sharply. And the champagne glass, a glorious focal point.
