Still finding my way around the new “DC” apartment, I was delighted to find a great coffee spot a nice walk’s distance away. Vigilante Coffee also has a really good avocado toast. Really this is all I ask for near my place… damn good coffee and something this vegan can eat for breakfast.

The Cherry… cherry tomatoes, micros greens, balsamic glaze on avocado smear on an everything bagel. Perfection!
But as I finished, I got called into work. I had to bolt home and change into uniform and beat rush hour traffic to check in on time. Thankfully I had already showered before the coffee shop and I made it. Reserve life can be exhausting.
