VeganMoFo #12: More Long Island Vegan Eats

Tiger Lily Cafe is a cute little spot for hearty veg grub in Port Jefferson, Long Island. They’ve got an ample selection of vegetarian prepared foods, wraps and sandwiches, as well as some vegan baked goods and fresh juice, smoothie and coffee concoctions. It was definitely a satisfying find! On the total package tip, the decor reminds me of my bedroom in high school, a mis-mash of snarky kitsch and artwork. (And fittingly, they were playing Tori Amos and Pearl Jam’s Ten.) I got the collards with roasted squash, the Lily Veggie Burger, which was perfect, and the Red Devil juice. Okay Long Island, you’re getting there.
