While many omni eateries are embracing easy packaged products to create their vegan options, Brooklyn Firefly is serving up housemade vegan cheeses, walnut-arugula pesto sausage, vegan versions of all their pizzas (all 8 of โem!), as well as three completely unboring vegan dessert options: banana cream pie, raw tiramisu, and sโmores. 
Of course these high standards do not go unnoticed by meโฆ especially because they are in my very own hood. I am happy to introduce the next V.V. Vegan Best of the Boroughs!

To highlight the amazingness of Brooklyn Firefly, feast your eyes on this is the Sausage & Pepper calzone, vegan style. Itโs arugula walnut pesto, house-made vegan mozzarella, house-made vegan ricotta, caramelized onions, and sauteed peppers folded neatly into a calzone.
