Abandoned New York City Farm Colony

In my series of exploring the abandoned Farm Colonies of Long Island, a trip to Staten Island’s New York City Farm Colony. Abandoned since 1975, the scattered buildings have decayed gloriously as developers decide the future use of the land. Easily accessible and with parking at the active Greenbelt Recreation Center, this is my second visit to explore. But this trip would be an exploration of the buildings I missed previously. And with a better photographic equipment! (And with more history of the grounds and its legends… scary stuff.) The decay was some of the most dynamic I’ve ever seen. So look before it’s all gone…
