The Hollow’s Seitan Wings

The Hollow Bar & Kitchen serves up some seitan wings, along with other vegan options, at their happening space in downtown Albany, NY. So I had to partake after a day of driving. The seitan comes from Halo Vegan Food Company, a wholesale supplier of vegan “meats.” Though they do the trick, these restaurants should know that making seitan is pretty darn easy and a million times more tender than packaged stuff. And you get to love it with flavor at each step.

I’m ashamed to say that I ate most of these… it was with aid of the pineapple jerk sauce they were coated in

I also got a huge wedge of sweet cornbread. A bit crumbly but yummy.
