The Gobbler: Next Level Thanksgiving Sandwich

A few years ago I said I’d go hard on trying all the Thanksgiving sandwich specials–I’m going to try to do that this year because I really enjoy them. Running into Downtown Brooklyn’s Next Level Burger for a bite to bring on the Long Island Rail Road, I was pleased to see an early holiday special: The Gobbler. This delicious and limited time sandwich is a crispy “turkey” patty, smothered in housemade gravy and topped with multi-grain stuffing and a tangy-sweet cranberry sauce on a soft bun.

Can’t stop taking pictures of it, because it was so damn good. Next time, a double. Because they make a double if you want…

Now that I’m in the Thanksgiving spirit, I have to think about what I will eat on the upcoming food holiday.
