The Cookies Must Go On
March 31, 2020

I was happy to stumble upon a new vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe when I realized I had no more sweet bites to eat, in between all my other eating. You see, they’ve got tahini in ’em! And I just happen to have a little less than 1/3 cup of tahini that’s been sitting in a jar in my pantry for like a year. I dig an opportunity for pantry turnover, especially when it inexplicably results in a super soft interior and a nice crisp on the outside. I really didn’t want these to taste like that tahini and they didn’t. They were heavenly in their own unique way. Not my favorite, but definitely a texture superstar.

But what will I do with all these cookies?? So much of the joy of baking is sharing it with my friends and loved ones.

I offered “contact-free” pick-up on the’ Gram. Because I can’t be alone with all these cookies. I am trying to live in harmony and balance!

Interior shot, a must.
