Ten Things To Do Instead of Shopping:
#2. Bust a Move
December 7, 2019
Finding time to get moving is an important part of maintaining health, yeah duh. But too often I am emotionally spent by work and stuck to my couch, decompressing from the days’ battles come evening. Since my summer, my activity level has dropped drastically. With motivation depleted, I haven’t had much moxy to get out there. Then comes winter’s chill…
In honor of my enduring host body, a mode of movement I am motivated to do–for its nostalgia, its colors, its big and jarring slams to my bottom, frankly. Because maybe if I adjoin physical activity with socializing, I may move more. So this holiday season, bust a move. Or, bust a move in iridescence, retro-style. This small spread of pictures of my busting a move is part one: Roller skating. Since I could not attempt to skate with a camera in my hand, they’re in the prep phase. But I am proud to say I did far better than I thought I would. With only one small fall and one whopping wipe out, leaving me reminded of and respecting Newton’s Law. Part Two, Ice Skating, is forthcoming.
And because my self-archive is strong, here is 4th grade birthday party at United Skates of America. Natural film from 35 mm film. I loooved roller skating.
[…] Ticket includes the price of rental skates, but I had my own. This carpet is a must for a roller rink apparently. Check it out here too! […]
