Gift Spoiler alert! 🎁 Don’t read if you’re a special person in my life! This holiday season I am giving what I am most proud of–the evolution of my skills in astrophotography! Spending hours pouring over my photographs from this past year, I kind of got choked up. I saw so many beautiful things, took so many pictures. Each a preservation, a feeling in a moment. A million little decisions’ aftermath. And now I give them out.

Since I traded in my old camera and see how little it is worth now it blows my mind that I was able to capture the Milky Way with it. I look forward to more crisp images now that I have triple the amount of megapixels, a sturdier tripod on my Christmas list and a better grasp of how to get into darkness.

While I was printing images, I finally got around to printing out my Great American Eclipse pictures from 2017. This was my first big photographic mission. I still can’t believe I took these. Maybe I better start believing in my photographic skills.
