Tate’s Bake Shop Makes A Vegan Version
April 8, 2022

Because I have been vegan longer that Tate’s Bake Shop has been around, I’ve never tried the iconic thin cookie. Now that there is a vegan version, I was excited to sample them… because I might have projected an ideal upon them. Here I am at Stew Leonard‘s getting my bag!

Now my review: They’re not thin at all, which was a bit of a disappointment as this is Tate’s thing. They were crispy, for sure. And they tasted exactly like Chips Ahoy, which does have a certain nostalgic value. However, I was never the biggest fan of Chips Ahoy. I was more a Soft Batch Cookie gal.
Woohoo, another win for veganism! Though I would probably just continue to make my own, I’m excited to see vegan options spread. They have another flavor of vegan cookie too–Maple, I believe. Let me know if you try it!
