Sunrise Over Goblins
August 17, 2020
I have this thing that happens at sunrise. I bolt up and grab my camera, often leaving within the same minute of the bolting up! Since these sunrise pictures of the hoodoos at Goblin Valley State Park are in my view better than the sun-drenched ones mid-day, here they are for your enjoyment. Though the sunrise made them look even more, er, phallic than the day before. Only now do I realize many have made this comparison… nicknaming them cock rocks. π
I’m going to make this a meme….
Me: Maybe I should try to date someone.
Also me:
I tried to find out what these plants were and described them to the Ranger who was very confused by my description: “Shallot heads with arms sticking out”
Onward and upward, altitude-wise.
