Smorgasburg in Prospect Park

I have been meaning to check out Black Rican Vegan‘s Puerto Rican and soul food for quite some time now. Now that they are part of Prospect Park’s Smorgasburg‘s vendors, I knew I’d be finally getting my mitts on there scrumptious looking food after months of Insta-stalking.
Despite it being super chilly, I was ready to eat outside! Happy to see ATM Vegan Deli making the rounds. I really enjoyed their food when they were in Williamsburg. There’s a bunch of other vegan stuff I’ll have to check out on a second trip.
Relieved I don’t have to wait on a line!
I had to try their Oyster Mushroom Burger: batter-dipped oyster mushrooms deep fried until nice and crispy topped with slaw and spicy chipotle sauce. Bun could have used a toasting, but overall very impressive.
Mushrooms were amazingly crisp! Batter was spot on (and stayed on) though mushroom sometimes pull with my bites.
