Simply Sweet in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn

File under “vegan” popping up all over the place: Simply Sweet organic, raw, vegan desserts on Avenue U in Brooklyn’s Sheepshead Bay. And yes, it says all that on the sign. Close-ish to my first place in Brooklyn back in 2002, I was excited to see an all-vegan option dedicated to quality join the mostly Eastern European enclave. Getting my first time discount I got a box of goodies for the road.
So much to choose from… and friendly service: Check!
I got a couple of their Caramel Fudge bites made from coconuts.
Their Pie In the Sky made of hazelnuts, dates and cashews. So creamy and delicious. And a great price point.
The Lemon-Blueberry, walnut-based with a refreshing bright tartness
And the Chocolate Strawberry. Raw heaven.
Simply Sweet is a great addition to Brooklyn’s thriving vegan scene. Keep churning them out, Brooklyn!
